About Ten Days in Costa Rica

Ten Days in Costa Rica is an independent English-language travel planning site focused on helping travelers build practical Costa Rica itineraries and make better decisions about destinations, transport and activities.

The site is published and operated by Winning Leads AB, a Swedish company (organization number 559331-3314).

What this site is for

Costa Rica can look simple on a map while being surprisingly easy to overplan. Mountain roads, weather, transfer times and the sheer number of tours make itinerary decisions more important than collecting long lists of attractions.

Our starting point is therefore practical: help a traveler decide where to spend limited time, which experiences are meaningfully different from each other, what is worth booking ahead and where flexibility is more useful.

The first editorial focus is a ten-day route through La Fortuna/Arenal, Monteverde and Manuel Antonio, with supporting transport and activity guides.

How we work

Our guides are research-led. We use current official tourism, park, reserve, transport and operator information when a claim is time-sensitive, and we mark pages for review when opening hours, reservation systems or other important details may change.

We do not present desk research as first-hand travel experience. When a page makes a recommendation, the reasoning should be visible in the article: logistics, fit, tradeoffs and user intent rather than unexplained rankings.
